The Sully Magisterial District of Fairfax County includes the communities of Centreville, Clifton, Chantilly, and Oakton. Clifton is the only incorporated community within the Sully District and it has its own elected city government (click here to go to the Town of Clifton website). Centreville, Chantilly and Oakton are unincorporated and for these communities local government begins at the level of the District Supervisor of the Board of supervisors. Historically, most of the area now included in the Sully District was part of the Centreville District. The district lines and name was changed in the later half of the 20th century.
