Around Centreville

The concept for the the design of our portal was created by Chris Quan as part of a community involvement initiative. We needed and wanted an interesting, eye catching site that would set us apart, be easy to use and capture a theme for Centreville.
Centreville Community Foundation in parternship with Mountain View High School held a design contest for the portal. The winner of the contest was Chris Quan.
Chris Quan is a junior at Mountain View High School in Centreville, VA. He currently lives in Burke, VA. He is into alternative and hard rock music. Chris is interested in pursuing a career in technology and is investigating IT certificate and degree programs for after high school graduation. His strengths lie in working with computers, trouble shooting, and helping others understand software and hardware components.

Once the design concept competition was completed, Bjorn Nordlof owner of Nordic Webdesign, a local graphic artist and Internet design company took the site concept and created the professional and polished look you see today on our portal.
