Where can I get help with preparing my tax return?
This year tax preperation assistance for low and middle income taxpayers returns to the Centreville Library (its an AARP Tax Aide Program) on Tuesdays 12 - 7 pm, and Thursdays and Saturdays 10 am - 2 pm. Be sure to bring all the necessary information you'll need to complete your return (including last year's return), along with identification and social security numbers for all persons listed on the return. Call 703 830-2223 to contact the library and 1 888-687-2277 to contact AARP.
If you worked in 2009, and earned less than $49,000, then you may qualify. IRS certified volunteers will ensure you receive the maximum tax refund and help determine if you are eligible for the earned income tax credit. Saturdays, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m at the Chantilly Library. Click here for other locations.
