We are a theologically conservative Southern Baptist church. We strive to be a relevant church in our style of ministry to today's people, while holding to the doctrines of conservative, evangelical Christianity.
"Anchored in the first century -- Speaking to the 21st century"
We have three worship services each Sunday with expositional preaching by the Senior Pastor. A "classic" style of music (hymns, piano) enhances the worship at the 8:00 AM service. A "celebratory" style of music (praise team, contemporary worship songs, guitars, etc.) enhances the worship at the 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM services.
As a Southern Baptist church, we support Southern Baptist missions and ministries; however in recognition of our place within the broader evangelical community, we also utilize curriculum from such publishers as Navigators and Gospel Light, and support missions and ministries such as the local Crisis Pregnancy Cetner, Campus Crusade, UFM, and Pioneers.
Our church is led by a plurality of elders. Under the auspices of the elders, deacons assist in the spiritual ministry of the church and bear the load of assistance to the church families.
Our Purpose: is to love people in the name of Jesus Christ and to encourage and assist them in becoming His totally dedicated followers.
Our Statement of Faith:
We believe there is one and only one, true, living God. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and sole authority of faith and practice.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, which is composed of all true followers, and in Him is vested all power for its government.
We voluntarily unite ourselves as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to worshiping God and sharing the Good News of salvation with all mankind.
We believe that the ordinances required of the Church are those of baptism and the Lord's Supper.
We are a body of believers who accept the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message as approved by the Southern Baptist Convention.
