hello- I was an au pair in Centreville from 2006- 2007 and it was probably the best experience in my life. Centreville is a beautiful place and I met so many nice people. I'm so thankful for the family I stayed with and the friends I've made. I miss you

I raised my four sons in Centreville from 1982-1989 and then we moved to nearby Chantilly. My sons, Doug, Jeff, Tyler and Kenny Gardner went to all the local schools. We moved out west in 1995 and recently returned due to the tragic death of Doug (a/k/a "Douger") on 12/21/06. He was 29 years old and had grown up to be quite a successful business owner with his first office being in Centreville, later moving to the Dulles Corridor. He purchased our family home here in Chantilly to be his own

I am in search of my birth father. The only information I have is from my mother who says his name is Donald Lee Harris and he and his family lived in Centerville, Va. I was born in 1963 in Alexandria. My mother's name is Gloria Hall she was called Bootsie back then. She and my father dated for a short time. He came to see me when I was born. I have never met him and would like to know if anyone knows of him. He had several siblings and other children at that time. You can email me at herts89@v

I used to live and go to school in Centreville until my dad retired and we moved to Illinois. I later moved back to the area, living in Alexandria and working in the District, until I got into a Ph.D. program back in the Midwest. As soon as I finish, I'm moving back to Centreville to live permanently! I loved living there and met some of the best people I've ever known there! Katey S. and Lindsey, where are you Braddock cul-de-sac girls?!

Centreville is a beautyful place to live. I enjoyed my stay there as an Au-Pair a lot. This was in 1998. It would be great to meet here some other "old" Au-Pairs that were in Centreville.

Just wanted to say I really like the idea of signing a guestbook for another state. I don't think my state has one.(Michigan), Centreville looks to be a nice "family" oriented place. God Bless Ya'll.

Nice informative website. Bill Johnson has a great idea in the telling of personal stories about neighborhoods and houses. Perhaps you might want to preserve memories through pen-and-ink illustrations. Do a seach for House Portraits Joel Abramson.
